It is necessary to take into account the fact that the requirements for motivation of employees can change even after meeting their needs with regard to the regional level (Mikkelsen et al, 2017) and also the current economic situation of the region and sector type can play an important role (Lorincova, Schmidtova, et al, 2016), which may explain the change in motivation over time (Greiner, 2018). The situation is similar in Slovakia (News and Media Holding, 2017).…”

“…In view of this, it is advisable to continuously review the effectiveness of the current incentive program and to diversify it as needed. Greiner [55] draws attention to the fact that, for each enterprise, the incentive system is a complex and costly activity, but according to Kachaňáková and Urbancová [56], its effectiveness can significantly affect and promote the competitiveness of the company. Vetráková [5] [57] adds that the effectiveness of the motivation program is influenced by a precise analysis of employees and not neglecting this aspect can significantly strengthen the incentive program.…”
