“…The results of the present study corroborate the findings of the review by Dominski et al (2020) which evaluated the motivational characteristics of individuals who engage in the extreme conditioning program training modality. By evaluating 14 studies, the review reported that, compared to other forms of training, the motivational characteristics of individuals involved in the extreme conditioning program training present a high level of self-determination, and the subjects may experience a greater sense of satisfaction and pleasure (Dominski et al, 2020).
