Motivation, internet access and ICT experience as factors of success in a non-moderated e-learning course

“…In this context, the research was found that the internet, Google, mobile apps and software, cost, upgraded knowledge, time efficiency and technological devices are motivating the students and academics to carry on their learning process more comfortable and keep them connected among themselves, create a comfortable and understandable learning environment for students, using the technology to reduce the costs compared to traditional methods such as the lecture notes are stored as soft copies, the technology is kept on updating all the data and information available in the world quickly. These current findings were validated by the existing empirical evidence, as such the Jadric et al (2010), the internet has been identified as an essential underlying factor in the popularity of e-learning courses, Holder (2007) demonstrated that the internet is one of the main components underpinning the e-learning environment by facilitating and influencing the modalities of an online course, further, the study of Etherington (2019) has proved that Google apps such as Google Docs and Google Scholar were used in e-learning activities as supporting factors in their studies. Ansari and Tripathi (2017) studies reveal that m-learning apps can engage students anytime and anywhere in their learning process.…”
