Mortality in Patients Treated for Cushing’s Disease Is Increased, Compared with Patients Treated for Nonfunctioning Pituitary Macroadenoma

Abstract: Mortality in patients previously treated for Cushing's disease is increased, compared with patients treated for NFMAs. This implies that previous, transient overexposure to cortisol is associated with increased mortality.
