Morphological characters of the eggs of Bisnius nitidulus, Gabrius osseticus, G. splendidulus, G. trossulus, Gyrohypnus atratus, Heterothops niger, Neobisnius villosulus, Quedius brevicornis, Q. brevis, Q. microps, Philonthus alpinus, Ph. atratus, Ph. corvinus, Ph. lepidus, Ph. micans and Tasgius melanarius are described and illustrated for the first time. Based on the morphology of eggs, species for which eggs were already known and those for which eggs are described here, are divided into 9 groups. Differences in the eggs morphological structure cover: presence or absence and the number of longitudinal ridges; presence or absence of the projection on poles, and structure of its distal end; ratio of egg length to the length of posterior projection; presence or absence of the rostrum-shaped apex and the concave, sloping area on the posterior pole; arrangement, number and structure of aeropyles, and the measurements.
