“…For each female, 30 random oocytes with clear nucleus were considered, and both their vertical and horizontal diameters were measured. The stage of maturation for oocytes and spermatogonia was evaluated following Yamamoto and Yamauchi (1974), Guraya et al (1975) and Miura et al (1991).
