Morphological Aspects of Myocardial Remodeling under Conditions of its Volume Overload

Abstract: Background. Myocardial overload occurs in situations when one or another heart chamber receives excess blood during diastole. Most often it occurs as a result of insufficiency of aortic or atrioventricular valves.
