Abstract:This chapter assesses the role of moral philosophies in establishing a framework for ethical thinking and practice in business. It advances a theocentric ethical approach and pluralistic business purposes as the pathway to successful ethical organisations that strengthen and sustain the social and environmental fabric of society.
