Nanotechnology V 1505 Monodisperse MMoO3·2H2O (M: Mn, Co, Ni) Compound Nanocrystals: Syntheses, Characterization and Luminescent Properties. -The title nanocrystals are hydrothermally prepared from aqueous solutions of (NH4)6Mo7O24 and M(OAc)2 (M: Mn, Co, Ni) using N2H4·H2O as reducing and structure directing agent (autoclave, 140°C, 12 h). The samples are characterized by TGA, XRD, XPS, SEM, and luminescence spectroscopy. The MMoO3·2H2O (M: Mn, Co, Ni) compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group Cc with Z = 2 and exhibit nanostructures in zero, one, or two dimensions for M: Mn, Co, and Ni, respectively. The solids with M: Mn, Co, and Ni show red, pink red, and soft red photoluminescence, respectively. -(YANG, S.; LIANG, Y.; YI, Z.; MA, X.; CHANG, C.; SUN*, J.; J.
