Monitoring, Operations, and Performance Assessment Through AI and Cloud-Based Plants

Abstract

This work outlines the steps necessary to build a cloud-based control-loop performance monitoring system that can centrally monitor data from several industrial facilities in different parts of the world. Given the high expenses associated with on-premises installations (including systems, human resources, maintenance, and upgrades), this is an attractive option for many businesses, and it's all made possible by current Industry 4.0 technology.
