“…The prevalent bioadditives commonly employed include hemp [37][38][39][40][41][42][43][44], wheat [10,41,[45][46][47][48][49], and barley [10,35,[50][51][52]. Additionally, alternative bioadditives encountered in various studies encompass reed [37,41,[53][54][55], olive [56][57][58], rice [53,59], straw [37,[60][61][62][63], flax [31,47,54,64], bagasse [59], corn [51], alfa [65,66], hibiscus cannabinus [67], kenaf [68], lavender [50], palm [69], pennisetum setaceum [70], pumice [43]…”

“…Several studies have been conducted to investigate the drying of building materials and the influence of some of the aforementioned parameters on the process. At the wall scale, a study of the drying kinetics of a prototype building constructed with a double-wall system (cob on the interior side and light earth on the exterior side) was conducted [23]. It has been shown that the drying rate of the cob layers on the south and west walls was higher than that of the north wall and that the drying of the light earth layers reaches equilibrium faster than the cob layers because they are more exposed to environmental conditions and because of their lower initial moisture content.…”
