Monitoring Caspase Activity in Living Cells Using Fluorescent Proteins and Flow Cytometry

Abstract: Apoptosis is characterized by a distinct series of morphological and biochemical changes that eventually result in the programmed death of cells. It plays an essential role in morphogenesis, host defense and homeostasis of all tissues, including the immune system.
