Abstract: Background: Hypercalcemia is a common complication of advanced malignancy, affecting up to 30% of cancer patients through various mechanisms (1). Hypercalcemia has rarely been described in gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), with fewer than ten case reports as of 2018 (1,2).
