Abstract: Introduction: Chromogranin A (CGA) is a glycoprotein secreted by several neuroendocrine tissues; therefore, it is a good marker for neuroendocrine tumors, with high specificity for diagnosis and good correlation with disease progression, recurrence and treatment response.
