Molecular orientation in the surface layer of polytetrafluorinethylene

Abstract: Attenuated total reflectance spectroscopy was used to study the orientation and deformation of molecular chains in polymers. Reflection and transmission spectra of the polytetrafluorinethylene (PTFE) films were obtained.
