Abstract: MT4-MMP (or MMP-17) belongs to the Membrane-Type Matrix Metalloproteinases (MT-MMPs), a distinct subset of the MMP family that is anchored to the cell surface by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) motif.
