Abstract:Borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) show intriguing characteristics distinguishing them from other ovarian tumors. This unique type of non-invasive neoplasms is characterized by atypical growth of epithelial cells, nuclear atypia, and a moderate-level mitotic activity that places BOTs between benign tumors and invasive cancers.
