Molecular identification of different actinomycetes isolated from East Black Sea region plateau soil by 16S rDNA gene sequencing

Abstract: In order to obtain different actinomycetes isolates from the East Black Sea Region plateau soil, an isolation study was carried out by using sucrose gradient method and different growth media. A molecular taxonomic method, 16S rDNA gene sequencing, was applied to obtain different actinomycetes isolates from East Black Sea region plateau soil. Phylogenetic dendrograms based on 16S rDNA nucleotide sequences were constructed by using neighbour-joining algorithm. In the light of phylogenetic analyses, it was deter… Show more

“…In the present study physiological characteristics of SN-7 varied depending on the available nutrients in the medium and the physical conditions. Thus, it is concluded that on the basis of the present and previous studies that the nutrient compositions of the medium greatly influence the growth and morphology of organisms (Kamil et al, 2014).…”

“…LGMB471 presented considerable activity in all conditions evaluated; however, cultivation using SG medium at 36 °C almost completely inhibited the phytopathogen development. The genus Microbacterium has been reported as a producer of several metabolites with biological activity (Kamil et al 2014); however, there are no reports of activity against P. citricarpa. In this context, we reasoned that it would be valuable to determine the metabolic profile of Microbacterium sp.…”

“…However, sequencing others genes than 16S rRNA, and DNA-DNA hybridization would be required for species description (Meyers, 2014 ). Microbacterium, Sphaerisporangium , and Micrococcus species are common associated with medicinal plants in different regions, and climate conditions (Kim et al, 2000 ; Kamil et al, 2014 ; Xing et al, 2015 ). However, none of these has been isolated from wetland regions.…”
