Molecular-genetic identification of arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi from Teberda natural reserve

Abstract: Arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi of soil samples from North Caucasus were identified via Illumina Miseq and universal primers for ITS region. It was shown, that both ITS1 and ITS2 are necessary for identification.

“…Identification the AMF strains with the highest symbiosis efficiency is of great value for agricultural applications. To do it, we isolated, identified (Kryukov et al, 2017;Kryukov, Yurkov, 2018;Yurkov et al, 2018b), and evaluated the symbiotic efficiency (Yurkov et al, 2017a, b;Yurkov et al, 2018a) for a number of strains from the collection.…”

“…Inoculation of plants with adapted fungal populations during their cultivation on control substrates had differences: with Cr 2,5 it caused a significant increase in the content of photosynthetic pigments, and with Cr 10 , on the contrary, a significant decrease in their content. When cultivating plants on substrate with the addition of Cr 2,5 , there were 8th Scientific and Practical Conference 48±2,50 1 Here and hereinafter: the average value of the indicator ± standard deviation; 2 significant difference from control: increase ↑ or decrease ↓ of the indicator (p 0.05); Control − initial population that is not adapted to HM (corresponds to A0 in Fig. 1-3) and the substrate without metals (corresponds to B0 in Fig.…”

“…Certain successes have been achieved in studying the role of endomycorrhiza and its most common form -arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM), which is typical for most modern phylogenetic groups of plants and is introduced in all biomes of the globe. It is formed by fungi belonging to the Glomeromycotina subdivision of the Mucoromycota division [1]. But the use of AMF in crop production is limited, which is a consequence of their obligate symbiotrophy [2].…”
