Molecular fragments and oxidation processes

Abstract: Oxidation processes play an important rdle in furnishing energy for all purposes. The use of these processes would be much benefited by an exact knowledge of their mechanism. Evidence is presented to show how important atoms and radicals are becoming in our concept of the steps by which chemical reactions take place.
