Abstract:Malignant catarrhal fever (MCF) is a systemic, sporadic, and fatal viral disease affecting susceptible hosts such as cattle, buffalo, deer, etc. Ovine herpesvirus-2 (OvHV-2) is the main cause of MCF in livestock.
