Abstract:The genus Begomovirus (family Geminirvidae) comprises circular single-stranded DNA viruses that infect both cultivated and non-cultivated hosts, being transmitted by the insect vector Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae).
