Molecular characterization and DNA fingerprinting of some local eggplant genotypes and its wild relatives

Abstract: Collection and characterization of local genotypes and landraces are prerequisite for any crop improvement program. Molecular diversity and DNA profiling shown exact genetic blue print of any crop. Hence, the experiment was design to establish the molecular diversity and polymorphism among some local eggplant genotypes and its wild relatives for future breeding program.

“…Things that affect the value of survival is good feeding so that it can support fish growth through energy obtained from feed. This is also confirmed by Hoque & Tasrin (2018), factors that affect the level of survival are abiotic and biotic, including competitors, density, population, age and the ability of organisms to adapt to their environment.…”

“…Adaptation of wild relatives of eggplant in India is as old as its civilization and was reported to be used as Unani medicines since time immemorial. Wild eggplants contribute antimicrobial, insecticidal, antiviral, and anti–carcinogenic properties 8 . Numerous species of wild edible eggplant contain high phenolic compounds with crypto chlorogenic acid and neochlorogenic acid associated with low lipids and high levels of antioxidants 9 .…”
