Molecular basis of glucocorticoid action

Abstract: Glucocorticoid hormones are involved in regulation of cell processes and coordinate physiological response to diverse signals. These hormones, through interaction with specific intracellular receptors, coordinate components of physiological repertoires by activating the expression of gene networks.
