“…However, in comparison with other highly efficient photocatalysts, MgInS 4 remains unsatisfactory owing to its relatively high photogenerated electron and hole recombination efficiency and must be modified to achieve high photocatalytic performance. The construction of semiconductor heterojunctions with other semiconductors having suitable band gaps is a well-documented and effective method to facilitate photogenerated carrier migration, with MgIn 2 S 4 @In 2 O 3 , , MgIn 2 S 4 /oxygen-doped g-C 3 N 4 , and MgIn 2 S 4 /Bi 2 WO 6 being examples.
