“…Hunt's research showed that the dynamic modulus of the cantilever beam and the static elastic modulus have a good linear correlation, but the dynamic elastic modulus is always higher than the static elastic modulus measured by the threepoint bending method. Luis Acuna [13] employed the transverse and longitudinal frequencies of the cantilever beam vibration to predict the modulus of elasticity (MOE) of five different spectral density woods.
