Abstract:Phosphodiesterase inhibitors have been shown to modulate cell differentiation. We have previously shown that a series of imidazo[ 1,2-a]pyrazine derivatives displayed inhibitory effects on phosphodiesterase isoenzymes types 111, IV and V isolated from Dami cells and on Dami cell growth. In the present study we have investigated the effect of these derivatives on the expression of two differentiation markers, glycoproteins Ib and IIb/IIIa of the human megakaryoblastic leukaemic Dami cell line in comparison to t… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
