Modularisation of Microstructured Separation Devices as a Method of Scale‐up using the Example of Distillation

Abstract: Mikrostrukturierte Apparate werden seit geraumer Zeit als ein Ansatz zur Prozessintensivierung im Bereich der Reaktionstechnik diskutiert. Immer öfter wird in diesem Zusammenhang als Hemmnis für eine erfolgreiche Implementierung der Mikroverfahrenstechnik in Labor und Technik das Fehlen von Komponenten aus dem Bereich der Trenntechnik genannt. Dieser Beitrag stellt anhand von theoretischen Überlegungen am Beispiel der Destillation die Potenziale der Mikrotrenntechnik dar.
