Modifying penaeid-trawl spreading mechanisms to improve environmental efficiency

Abstract: The environmental efficiency of demersal trawls can be defined within measures of three response variables: (i) species selectivity; (ii) extent and intensity of habitat impacts; and (iii) energy efficiency.
