TÓM TẮTĐã nghiên cứu phản ứng tổng hợp và trùng hợp khơi mào bằng tia tử ngoại của dầu vỏ hạt điều acrylat hóa (DVHĐA). Đã xác định được rằng phản ứng acrylat hóa dầu vỏ hạt điều (DVHĐ) bằng glyxydyl metacrylat (GMA) xảy ra nhanh chóng trong điều kiện đương lượng mol của DVHĐ và GMA, có mặt benzyltrietyl amoni clorit với hàm lượng 0,8 % tổng khối lượng của DVHĐ và GMA, nhiệt độ phản ứng 100 o C. Các nhóm epoxy trong hệ phản ứng hầu như chuyển hóa hoàn toàn sau 150 phút phản ứng trong điều kiện nêu trên. Tuy nhiên, cần phải dừng phản ứng trước thời gian nêu trên để tránh tạo gel trong khối phản ứng.Nhờ tác dụng hóa dẻo của mạch hydrocacbon trong DVHĐ, các nhóm acrylat trong DVHĐA có thể trùng hợp nhanh chóng, đạt đến mức chuyển hóa 100 % khi trong hệ có một lượng nhỏ chất khơi mào quang I.184 và được chiếu tia tử ngoại.Phản ứng đồng trùng hợp của các nhóm acrylat và các liên kết đôi của DVHĐ cũng xảy ra trong quá trình trùng hợp quang của hệ.Từ khóa: dầu vỏ hạt điều, acrylat hóa, trùng hợp quang. MỞ ĐẦUKhai thác, sử dụng có hiệu quả dầu vỏ hạt điều (DVHĐ), một sản phẩm phụ của công nghiệp chế biến hạt điều, từ lâu đã thu hút sự quan tâm của nhiều nhà nghiên cứu [1 -9]. Có thành phần chính là cacdanol [1,6,7], dầu vỏ hạt điều tách bằng phương pháp nhiệt có thể biến đổi theo nhiều hướng, tạo nên các sản phẩm có ứng dụng trong một số lĩnh vực [2, 4 -9]. Trong đó, phản ứng mở vòng nhóm epoxy của nhóm hydroxyl phenol trong DVHĐ và dẫn xuất tạo nên các dẫn xuất của DVHĐ có nhóm epoxy, acrylat sử dụng trong một số lĩnh vực cũng đã được thông báo [8,9].Bài báo này trình bày một số kết quả nghiên cứu tổng hợp DVHĐ acrylat hóa từ DVHĐ tách bằng nhiệt thương phẩm, glyxydyl metacrylat và phản ứng trùng hợp khơi mào bằng tia tử ngoại của sản phẩm acrylat hóa.

A Nitrigreen tem a mesma facilidade de processamento de uma borracha pré-plastificada com outros plastificantes sintéticos convencionais tais como os ftalatos. A Nitrigreen é um produto que atende a diretiva européia 2005/84/EC [7] que restringe o uso do DOP (dioctil ftalato) para artefatos infantis, em função da exsudação do DOP. Existe uma ampla discussão no meio científico sobre as causas da contaminação pelo DOP, principalmente em crianças.Neste estudo será apresentado um comparativo entre a Nitrigreen e uma borracha pré-plastificada com DOP [6,8,9] . Experimental MateriaisA Tabela 1 apresenta as principais características das borrachas pré-plastificadas em óleo vegetal modificado (produto sob sigilo de patente) e com dioctil ftalato, ambas produzidas pela Nitriflex S/A Ind. Com. IntroduçãoO uso de aditivos na indústria de polímeros é recorrente da necessidade de aprimorar as propriedades/características finais dos artefatos/peças tais como, dureza, brilho, textura, resistência mecânica, etc. [1] . Entretanto a maioria dos aditivos são sintéticos e não biodegradáveis, tornando o artefato pós-uso um veículo de contaminação dos solos, rios e do ar. Em alguns casos, como dos plastificantes, pode ocorrer a exsudação do aditivo para a superfície da peça, ficando exposta a ação da temperatura, oxidação, radiação UV, etc. o que aumenta a contaminação por agentes químicos dos depósitos sanitários (lixões) e aterros das grandes cidades [2][3][4][5][6] .O processamento da borracha sem a presença de plastificantes seria uma alternativa radical para eliminar esse problema, entretanto não seria de uso prático, em virtude do alto consumo de energia e tempo de processamento. Pensando numa alternativa que fosse capaz de conciliar a facilidade de processamento e ao mesmo tempo reduzir o impacto ambiental, a Nitriflex S/A Ind. Com. desenvolveu uma nova linha de borracha pré-plastificada (estendida em plastificantes) em óleo vegetal. Por ser um plastificante de Resumo: Uma nova linha de borracha nitrílica pré-plastificada em óleo vegetal (Nitrigreen) com médio-alto teor de acrilonitrila (33%) foi especialmente desenvolvida pela empresa Nitriflex S/A Ind. Com., para suprir as necessidades do mercado de borracha. A Nitrigreen é um produto que está de acordo com a diretiva européia 2005/84/EC, pois utiliza um plastificante de fonte renovável. Esta borracha tem efeito superior na redução da viscosidade Mooney do composto formulado quando comprado com as borrachas pré-plastificadas com dioctil ftalato (DOP). Além da facilidade de processamento, a Nitrigreen tem compatibilidade com os aditivos de vulcanização, podendo ser utilizada em formulações de artefatos de baixa dureza, como brinquedos, cilindros gráficos e artigos técnicos. Cardanol, a by-product of the cashew industry, has been recently proven to be a multifunctional additive (MFA) in rubbers. It is expected that grafting of cardanol onto natural rubber (NR) would impart inherent MFA characteristics to the rubber. Grafting has been carried out in solution using toluene as the solvent and a peroxide initiator. Optimized conditions of grafting reaction could be arrived at using a statistical tool namely orthogonal array testing strategy, keeping the maximum percentage of grafting as the selection criteria. Further studies were conducted to study the influence of monomer concentration and initiator concentrations. The effect of the reaction temperature and reaction time were also investigated. Characterization of grafted rubber was carried out with the help of infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and thermal analysis. IR spectrum of cardanol exhibited the characteristic peak of cardanol at 3356 cm À1. Percent grafting (PG) of cardanol onto NR was determined by residual weight method. PG increased with increasing cardanol quantity reached an optimum and then decreased. The increase in reaction time and reaction temperature also caused increasing levels of the grafted cardanol. However, PG continuously increased with increasing initiator concentrations. Differential scanning calorimetry studies of the grafted NR showed a lower glass transition temperature than that of the raw NR, which is indicative of the plasticization effect of cardanol. The thermogravimetric analysis showed a higher thermo oxidative stability for cardanol-grafted NR.
