Modern Trends in Art Education and the Experience of the Past

Abstract

This article gives an overview of the special disciplines´ tuition issues within the system of higher artistic education on the example of the fundamental subject — academic drawing. The author analyzes both national and foreign historical experience in the academic art education sphere, this research work proposes reference points in the system of modern higher education.
