Modern methods of treatment of breast cancer in the elderly

Abstract: The prognosis of breast cancer in the elderly is associated with increased risk of various complications. Recommendations for the treatment of breast cancer in this group of patients are controversial and range from radical surgery to conservative therapy. There are no specific clinical recommendations for this age group. It makes this problem relevant.

“… The use of low doses of reagents and, as a result, relatively low reagent costs, therefore minimizing the cost of them cannot recoup the difficulties in organizing the work of service personnel [8].  Mandatory use of post-filtration for lime [5]. When cleaning 500 m 3 /h, i.e., 1/2 of the total flow at an alkali dose of ~ 1.5 mg-eq/l, i.e., up to 60 g/m 3 , about 3-euro cubes of 20% solution or 720 kg of solid are required per day.…”

“…In the last 30 years, reactors with vortex phase motion and with a fluidized bed of contact loading have become widespread in the world [4,5]. Precipitation on the loading particles occurs in the lower zone of the reactor, where the purified water and reagent are introduced, due to local supersaturation, i.e., at lower pH of the purified raster and a lower chemical dose of reagents than conventional reagent softening.…”

“…For achievement of the specified purpose deionization methods with use the strong-acid cation exchange resins and strong-basic anion exchange resins are applicable. However their shortcoming is formation of essential volumes of regeneration solutions (to 50% of initial water volumes), bulkiness of instrumentation in view of requirement of acquisition of the considerable volumes of ion-exchange resins [11][12][13][14][15].…”
