Modern Efficiency and Quality of Herbages on the Ravine-Gorge Systems of the Central Russian Upland

Abstract: The article presents the results of a survey of two ravine-gorge systems with a total area of 800 hectares in the land use of the Tula Research Institute of Agriculture, which were superficially and radically improved 35-40 years ago. Experimental data on the current state of old-growth grass stands are obtained: productivity, botanical and biochemical composition, agrochemical characteristics of soil, degree of radioactive contamination of soil and plants 137 Сs on slopes of different exposure and steepness.… Show more
