Modern approaches to the treatment of hallux rigidus

Abstract: The number of patients with degenerative joint pathology is steadily increasing. Arthrosis of the 1st metatarsophalangeal joint (hallux rigidus) is no exception, it occurs in 20-35 % of young and working people who lead a mobile lifestyle and is manifested by a symptom complex, including pain and a significant restriction of the function of the entire lower limb.
