Abstract:Background: Alleviation of motor impairment by aerobic exercise (AE) in Parkinsons disease (PD) points to a CNS response that could be targeted by therapeutic approaches, but recovery of striatal dopamine (DA) or tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) has been inconsistent in rodent studies.
