Models of traffic and pedestrian flows for organization of smart traffic light traffic

Aleksey Kolodochkin,
Irina Kulibaba,
Aleksandr Ogorodnikov

Abstract: The article defines the importance of organizing road traffic in urban transportation systems. The research targets are defined and all its key elements and characteristics are identified. The research target is a segment of the North-Western Chord of Moscow corresponding to Bolshaya Akademicheskay Street in the Koptevo District and limited by Mikhalkovskaya Street and 3rd Nizhnelikhoborskiy Proyezd. The research resulted in a model of a transport system graph for the area under study delineating traffic and p… Show more

“…Using this approach, researchers obtained a detailed description of the object from different points of view (data models, information flows, modules, etc.). The works of Altunina [12], Logachev [9,10], and Kolodochkin [14] used a similar set of scientific methods and obtained models describing in detail any aspects of the subject area in a form suitable for creating a digital twin of the research object. The application of the stated programming methods allowed to obtain a mobile application that has parallel multi-user access and provides relevant information in real time.…”

“…To create the information system, methods were used to ensure fulfilment of the requirements of the software development life cycle model. Such a model of work included work on analysing the subject area and the requirements necessary for software implementation, establishing the list of system users and their qualifications, the level of participation in the processes under study, the algorithms of work (complex use of methods of analysis, synthesis, groupings, statistical analysis [8,9]); creating formal models of the subject area, capable of determining the nature of work of specialists associated with the creation of the database, program modules and user interface (graphical The approach to the creation of a software product used in this study is valid for the creation of systems from different areas of the economy, the main objectives of which were to provide access to different resources, systematisation and unification of data, creation of unified ecosystems used in a particular subject area [12][13][14].…”

“…In the course of the conducted work, all the parameters affecting carrot yield are established. They are used in the research as parameters of the simulation model which can be changed for controlled control of the digital twin processes [8,9,13]. Similarly, the study conducted utilised such results.…”

“…In works related to simulation modelling, methods of structural analysis and synthesis are used to obtain a formal description of the problem domain [9][10][11]. The nature of the conducted research allowed us to use the above methods, with the help of which the objects of the problem domain and their qualitative and quantitative characteristics were obtained.…”

“…Such results are usually used to create simulation models of the processes of behavior of complex systems. In the analyzed studies, the results of structural analysis were used as input parameters for the simulation model of transport systems [8,13], creation of algorithms for the functioning of specialized information systems [5,14]. The methodology of working with data in such studies allowed its authors to create a model in which all the dependencies between objects and processes are established, allowing us to actually talk about the digital twin of the studied subject area.…”
