Modelling of mixed-mechanism stimulation for the enhancement of geothermal reservoirs

Abstract: Hydraulic stimulation is a critical process for increasing the permeability of fractured geothermal reservoirs. This technique relies on coupled hydromechanical processes induced through pressurized fluid injection into the rock formation.
