Modelling and Simulation of Laser Welded Joints of Reinforced PP and PC Plastics

Abstract: Welding of composites decreases their material strength. Proper evaluation of FEM simulations is necessary for correct design and safety factor determination. Neat and reinforced PP and PC specimens were measured on a testing machine to obtain their material properties.
