Global warming and the increasing food demand are problems of the current generation and require a change towards sustainable agriculture. In recent years, research in the field of artificial intelligence has made considerable progress. Thus, the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture can be a promising solution to ensure sufficient food supply on a global scale. To investigate the state-of-the-art in the use of artificial intelligence-based systems in agriculture, we provide a structured literature review. We show that research has been done in the field of irrigation and plant growth. In this regard, camera systems often provide images as training/input data for artificial intelligence-based systems. Finally, we provide a research agenda to pave the way for further research on the use of artificial intelligence in sustainable agriculture.

Los planes de fertilización para suelos y praderas, consiste en establecimiento de factores fisicoquímicos que mejoran las características del suelo. En este artículo se presenta el diseño de un sistema difuso para la recomendación de planes de fertilización. Inicialmente se realiza una caracterización de las variables para una fertilización precisa de suelos, determinando aquellas que generan mayor afectación a partir de la correlación presente entre ellas. Luego se procede a definir los conjuntos difusos de entrada y salida, así como las funciones de pertenencia y variables lingüísticas en función de rangos ideales en producciones baja, media y alta acorde a la extracción de macronutrientes. Como resultado principal se tiene un esquema general de un sistema de recomendación inteligente basada en lógica difusa, lo que evidencia que el uso de tecnologías propias de la industria 4.0 tiene potencial de aplicaciones para el control y gestión en el campo lechero.

Este artículo presenta la caracterización de variables relacionada con la fertilización precisa de suelos y praderas de ganadería de leche, para la construcción de un sistema inteligente de recomendación de planes de fertilización. La caracterización se realizó mediante un estudio de campo que consideró análisis de suelo y determinación de niveles óptimos de macronutrientes en cinco fincas del norte de Antioquia-Colombia. Como principal resultado se logró establecer los conjuntos difusos de entrada y salida, junto con las reglas de producción, que posteriormente se llevaron a un prototipo funcional. A partir de lo anterior, se concluye que el uso de técnicas de inteligencia artificial tiene gran potencial para su integración con software que apoyen las labores relacionadas con la fertilización.
