Modeling vegetative vigour in grapevine: unraveling underlying mechanisms

Abstract: Mechanistic modeling constitutes a powerful tool to unravel complex biological phenomena. This study describes the construction of a mechanistic, dynamic model for grapevine plant growth and canopy biomass (vigor).
