Modeling the Management of International Reserves from the Perspective of Financial Stability

Abstract: The paper explores the issues and international practices of the management of international reserves. The link is described between financial stability and international reserves. Emphasis is put on the specific significance of this subject for emerging economies. The main directions are charted for developing a systemic management approach in the domain and a case is made for applying modeling principles.
