Abstract:A system of kinetic equations describing the changes in the concentration of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in aqueous solutions of proteins was obtained from the analysis of chemical reactions involving singlet oxygen. Applying the condition of the stationarity of the intermediate products to the system, we determined the functional dependence of the hydrogen peroxide concentration on the protein concentration under the action of thermal and laser radiation. An approximate analytical solution to the nonlinear … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
