Modeling Surface Roughness and Flow of Gases in Threaded Connections to Analyze Sealing Performance

Abstract: Oil casings and premium threaded connections play vital roles in the oil and gas extraction industry. The present work establishes an integrated modeling framework for the sealability assessment of premium threaded connections which can be easily implemented and employed by engineers.
