Modeling Solids in Nuclear Astrophysics with Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics

Abstract: Smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is a frequently applied tool in computational astrophysics to solve the fluid dynamics equations governing the systems under study.
