Abstract:Understanding soil–water dynamics in cultivated organic soils (histosols) is crucial for sustainable agriculture, ecosystem preservation, and climate change mitigation. Data on the soil water retention curves (SWRCs) of these histosols in Canada are not readily available in the literature.
