Modeling of radio‐over‐fiber links for 802.11g wireless local area networks

Abstract: This article proposes the use of cosimulation between Matlab/Simulink and Rsoft Optsim to model a radio‐over‐fiber (RoF) link for 802.11g wireless local area network (WLAN) applications. First, a RoF link is modeled based on the experimental results of binary phase shift keying data transmission.
