Abstract: In this work, we investigate the capability of using real-time time-dependent density functional theory (RT-TDDFT) in conjunction with a complex absorbing potential (CAP) to simulate the intermolecular Coulombic decay (ICD) processes following the ionization of an inner-valence electron.
