Modeling and Presentation of Interdependencies between Key Performance Indicators for Visual Analysis Support

Abstract: Abstract. In this paper we propose the modeling and visual presentation of dependencies between key performance indicators. By doing this, explicit presentation and analysis of expert knowledge about dependencies between manufacturing processes can be achieved. This enables route-cause analysis and decision support. Further, using multiple techniques for the visual support we provide the user a high user experience, resulting in a quicker analysis and better user acceptance.
