Abstract

Tablet production systems can be defined as all machines which are able to produce tablets. Tablet production systems include tableting machines for production and research as well as tableting machine simulators, which are able to mimic the production processes of tableting machines to facilitate scale‐up. This article focuses on instrumentation of tablet production systems, tableting process, and the different techniques used for production and research of tablets.
