With the rapid development of globalization economy, countries in the world are more and more closely connected in business, and international import and export trade has also achieved rapid development. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the country's import and export trade, this article combines the main national economic indicators to analyze and study the algorithm of import and export trade forecasting. RVM is a sparse probability model and a new supervised learning method. Firstly, this paper introduces the protection system of block chain technology for import and export trade data information. Then, a hybrid RVM model is constructed, which is optimized by PSO algorithm, and the import and export volume is predicted based on this model. Based on the analysis of the data, it is tested that the security protection coefficient of the blockchain security technology for import and export trade data can reach up to 99.9%, and the accuracy of the import and export trade forecast based on the PSO optimized hybrid RVM model can reach up to 85.79%. A series of experiments show that the import and export trade forecast model studied in this paper can accurately predict the volume of import and export trade, thus providing a new method for the country's import and export trade, with high practical significance.

Medical Device Product Innovation Choices in Asia: An Empirical Analysis Based on Product Space

Due to the increasing demand for health care, identifying and evaluating the feasibility of local medical device innovation and production is an important guarantee for the long-term sustainable development of a national health system, especially for Asian countries/regions that are plagued by aging populations. This article analyzes the international trade data of 46 HS 6-digit medical device products exported from 49 countries from 1999 to 2019, and constructs a global medical device product space. Furthermore, the innovation potential and opportunities of potential medical device products in major Asian countries are evaluated by examining the dynamic relationship between the product distance and the acquisition of comparative advantages for medical device products based on an empirical model. The regression results suggest that a close product distance improves the feasibility of developing a new medical device product. The smaller the product distance is, the more likely it is to increase the diversity of the medical device products of a country by maintaining the existing comparative advantages and gaining potential comparative advantages. Furthermore, we follow the conclusions of the empirical model and analyze the product space evolution, and potential product distance and gains of major Asian medical device exporters. These conclusions may help entrepreneurs identify potential development directions and help government policy-makers formulate policies that are in line with national realities.

This paper examines the relationship between trade facilitation and export diversification in Tanzania. Specifically, it attempts to ascertain the role of infrastructure in facilitating export diversification. The study uses trade data for Tanzania’s export with its trading partners for the period from 2008 to 2017. The gravity model is used for data analysis. Findings reveal that the quality of airport infrastructures positively influences export diversification in Tanzania while other infrastructures had no influence on export diversification. The paper concludes that reliable infrastructure specifically airport infrastructures reduces trade costs, improves competitiveness, and increases export diversification in Tanzania and; thus recommends continual investment towards airport infrastructure development and maintenance.
